20 Bit LPCM

i needed to know as to how do i create 20bit LPCM audio files.
Is there any software that creates 20bit LPCM files.

Even a software that would create 20bit wave files would be sufficient,as i can then remove the wave header from it to get the file in LPCM form.

I only know 2 tools that can DEcode 20 bit LPCM. May i ask for what particular purpose you need it?

Unless DGMPDec 1.4.0 RC5 can't decode this?

heaps of tools support 24 bit. i suppose you could work to this and dither (or truncate) down to 20 bits.

the only format i know that does 20-bit LPCM is digital betacam... DVD should be 24 bit.
