View Full Version : where is "fast error skip" on 3.5.4.0 ?

I can't find the option anymore. I have some pretty badly scratch data dvdr's (mp3's) that i'm try to recover (in iso mode) but it is taking hours to try each section one at a time, even with 0 retries and ignore errors. I thought there was a "fast error skip" feature, that would skip ahead like 100 sectors at a time.

Dont hold me to this but i dont think is such a setting in DVDD 3.5.4.0

Sorry, there is a setting like that in DVDD 3.5.4.0 it is in the setting some where but i cant remember where

There is such a setting in SmartRipper, and it has successfully handled some disks that DVD Decrypter couldn't.

Are you, perhaps, thinking of the choice of "Normal" or "Aggressive" for "Removal Method" under the "General" tab of the "Settings"?
