hello again I have an avi file that I want to reencode using gordian knot whats the best steps to get best quality? the avi file is 29.970fps so do I have to do some sort of IVTC to the resulting output?

anyone any suggestions for me?

Maybe, maybe not. It will depend upon the content. Please read www.doom9.org/ivtc-tut.htm to find out.

this driving me insane!!! :(

I have an avi in divx format I want to put into xvid using gknot the source is 29.970fps must have already been deinterlaced if it was an interlaced movie cause there are no articfacts the source res is 640x336 I am setting gknot up to use 1cd 700mb but the final file size is coming out like 2gb+!?!?

what am i doing wrong?
