Hi there,

I've run into a strange problem with AutoGK lately. I've used AutoGK successfully many many times a few months back with 1.60... but when I tried to encode some new TV series DVDs (Simpsons season 1) with 1.60 or 1.96 it gets stuck at "Looking for optimal hybrid thresholds", and never progresses.

I've uninstalled all AutoGK related utilities, plus other stuff I had installed in the past couple months, and reinstalled AutoGK 1.96...

Here is the log:

Quite strange. Please upgrade to the latest beta and see if the error reoccurs.

Same results using the latest AutoGK 2.09b.

If it helps, I'm using DVD Decrypter to extract VOBs for each episode using IFO mode, all settings in DVDD are default.

I also tried NewsRadio, and it worked on the first episode because it detected it as FILM for some reason, and therefore did not search for hybrid threshold. However, other episodes were detected at hybrid and produced the same results.

This is pretty frustrating since it worked really well before, but maybe I'll just have to leave them as VOBs and forgoe the disk space savings. Or maybe I need a new computer... :)
