Hello
My portable iRiver media player's volume is not that good.
So, In already made DivX movies I can't hear the talking and the movie sounds (it is very low)
How can I re-encode this DivX file so the volume will be higher by default?
Thanks

If you use virtualdub you can increase the volume under the audio tab
1 choose "full processing under the audio tab
2 adjust the audio
3 choose compression (i use lame mp3 128/kbs cbr)
4 under the video tab choose "direct stream copy"
no need to re-encode the video
re-encoding the audio only, won't take very long

I have some movies with ac3 audio and the virualDUB doesn't handle this kind of audio even when I save it as wav file.
What should I do?
Is there a way to save the audio to regular wav and then use it with virtualDUB?
