Well, I don't know if it's actually a bug, I'm talking about the issue being discussed at:

Is it possible to change something in the registry so that we don't have to create the directory "C:\Program Files\DivX" to let the program store the "DivXmap.log" file (necessary for encoding DivX files with menu) in the directory where we had installed the whole DivX bundle? (In my PC: C:\Archivos de programa\DivX)
