Possible FAQ - DvdDecrypting from ISO/IMG?

Hi,

Wasn't sure whether this should go to the Dvd ripping forum or to general given that the question is about ISO/IMG files.

I have an IMG file for a DVD... do I need to burn it to a DVD first before I can use a tool like DVDDecrypter to extract the appropriate VOB files etc?

Nope, you can mount it with DaemonTools and it is essentially like having the burnt copy in a virtual drive.

You can also extract the files directly from the disc image using any imaging tool but I think mounting it is much easier to work with.
