Hi-
Or you can open the idx or sub in VobSub Configure, check the Custom Color box, and give them any color you like.

This is when playing back on my standalone dvd player not the PC if it makes a difference cause I can see it the subs are made during the autogk procedure

ok how do I use autogk so that it will write the .idx and .sub file but will encode the movie in autogk without the subs if you get what i mean.

Yes, of course it makes a difference. I don't know for sure, as I don't have your player, but as far as I know, the player is going to choose the color (whatever's in the firmware). Mine always show up as white (not my favorite color).

You want external subs? Then check the "Use Externals Subtitles" box in Advanced Settings. That way they won't be "burned" into the video, but will be playable on any computer with VobSub installed, or on any standalone that supports idx/sub subtitles. I believe that AutoGK is going to rar up the subs, so you just unrar them if, for example, you want to change the color in VobSub Configure.
