What I want to be able to do is edit and re-encode a microsoft MCE drv-ms file to a Windows Media 9 file and maintain the original Dolby AC3 5.1 format track in the new .wmv file.
I have a program to convert the .dvr-ms file to an MPG that has the original AC3 track, and I can demux those to a m2v and ac3 file but I can't import the AC3 into Premiere Pro or anything else I can find. I looked at the AC3 Decoder program, but its output is only Stereo.
Again, this is what I want to do:
1. Edit a .dvr-ms or .MPG (with 5.1 AC3 audio track)
2. Output to Windows Media 9 Pro WMV (with same 5.1 tracks)
What is the best way to do this?
