Hello,
I am trying to convert a .dts file to several mp3s (listening in the car).
First I ripped the audio from the DVD. I get big file with dts extension. Then, I downloaded ChapterXtractor. Used it to setup BeSplit to dts file.
Here is the code
BeSplit -core( -input "d:\1\queen\88.dts" -prefix "d:\audio\track" -logfile logfile.txt -type DTS -ending ) -split( 0.000 350.240 597.000 746.360 821.920 963.760 1477.360 1707.480 2062.240 2309.360 2525.760 2699.760 3250.080 3675.040 3920.880 4098.920 4194.200 4305.520 4510.600 4565.600 4914.800 5277.280 5610.040 5678.080 6041.160 6207.240 6334.480 6576.640 )

I get the result

eSplit v0.82 by DSPguru.

[00:00:00:148] Stream error : Sync found after 602 bytes
[00:00:00:172] Stream error : Sync found after 108 bytes

and so many errors. I aborted after the length of the decoding passed through the 2hrs mark.

Then I tried to convert to mp3 (using an excellent guide in this forum with foobar2000), then splitting. I only get 14 out of 28 tracks. If I convert to wav then I get a 2Gb wave which splits weirdly - more then 2hrs on the time scale while splitting.
What else can I do to split this file

Thank you
/Alex

I figureed it out!! :)

When using DVD decrypter to decrypt the movie
1. use IFO mode
2. make sure the "stream processing" is checked
3. uncheck video
4. make sure that audio has this on "demux"
4.5 tools->settings->IFO mode "File splitting" property should be in "by chapter"
5. press ok and continue

Then open foobar2000, (it should have with installation of optional components) load demuxed .dts files. Then select all files and right click: Convert->Run Conversion in the dialog box select the type of conversion.
Done :)

What version of SR are you using?
On mine that option does not work :(

What version of SR are you using?

I used DVD Decrypter (latest, 3.5.4.0). and Foobar 2000 (0.8.3) installed with optional components.
What SR stands for?

My error, thought you were using SmartRipper.
The file splitting in SR does not work.
Tried now DVDDecrypter and it works fine.
