Hello, my girlfriend recently became the proud owner of a Sony Hi-MD MiniDisc player, and as a man it has be come my duty to take care of all it's little technicalities.
My problem is that the provided Sony software, SonicStage appear to be unable to handle a large media library with any kind of responsiveness (~25000 tracks) so i was wondering if there is any kind of replacement software available, or if there is an easier way of getting music on to the discs.
Hi-MD discs are slightly different to normal MD's in that they can hold 1GB of stuff and can be used with non-audio data, however I'm not too knowledgable about MD's having never had one myself.
Also, i *really* don't want to have to resort to recording in realtime over digital/optical.
Any suggestions or tips welcome, especially about replacment software.
