Creating MPEG2 thumbnails

What's the best way to create thumbnails of MPEG2 files? If I right click on them and hit refresh thumbnail that doesn't work, would like some kind of preview of my MPEG2 files

VideoReDo has a Capture Frame option, outputs to BMP

I've been looking as well and I think it's impossible. :-( Well, of course nothing is impossible, but it would require some clsid editing, registry changes and the like.
