Hi, my name's Andrea from Italy.
I'm using your program AutoGK and it is very complete and it is an excellent tool of conversion DVD/VOB --> DivX.
In my opinion is a good thing if user can choose in addition to step 3 also the possibility of choice "Video Bitrate kbps"
and not only "Predifined/Custom Size" or " Percentage of Target Quality", in order to create all collection of his DivXes with same Video Bitrate.
What do you think about this ?? Is realizable ?


To conclude, when do you think that AutoGK will permit to create DivX movies using all the power of last codec 6.0
of DivX Networks ?? (2-3 months are sufficient in your opinion ???)

Its not there on purpose. There were many discussions about why its not a good option.

what do you mean by "all the power" ?

I mean by "all the power" : all the new options that DivX 6.0 offers to users respect previous release to increase video quality and adding DivX Media Format.

Its not there on purpose. There were many discussions about why its not a good option.
Although I have looked, I have not read any. (I did not read the complete 190 page AutoGK 2.09 beta thread though.) If you can post a sample thread, I would appreciate it. It would not only provide an answer, but help me learn a little more as well. :)

PS: The percentage quality setting is fine, but is one pass. I am primarily looking for a way of using two passes determined by quality rather than file size, if that makes sense.

PPS: AutoGK is an answer to prayer for people like me. :p Thank you.
