How to get sound out of rm-files for editing? ?

I just got about 5 Gb of Simpsons , the quality is far from ideal , but still Ok for me. The problem is that they were captured from TV and many of them have annoying noise in the background :(
I'm sure that ther're filter for SoundForge ( that is the question for another topic, I think ) or something to get rid of this, but the problem is that I don't really know how to rip sound out of rm file and then repack it again :(
What should I use ? Note that I woud like to have ability to do this in batch mode ( ther're several dozens of files )

it's CLI and you can easily write batch files to process the files.
it can mux/demux realmedia stream and do a lot of other things.

Ok. Now I can demux sound stream using -sx0 parameter.
<file name>.001 file generates. I can convert it to *.rmvb using Easy RM Producer , but what is next ? What can I do with audiostream in rm ? How to convert it into something more siutable - mp3,wav,ogg etc ?

well, if you want to convert them to other types, i can only give some hints:
1. try some software like streambox (or other freeware if you can find them)
2. use graphedit(seems hard to batch process):
connect the wave dest and filewriter after the decoder (realaudio decoder, or ffdshow decoder) and play the graph until it stop.
and the result is *.wav file.
don't forget to add .wav extension after the filename, the filewriter won't add it automatically.

The easiest way seems to be usage of winamp's output into file. It grabs sound from rmvideo into wav/mp3 directly with very good speed and quality :up:
