CCE basic for DVD2SVCD, wich version ??

I'm a little confused about purchasing the right version of CCE basic, on the Visible Light site you can download only the trial of the 2,70 version, but I've read in another thread that this version is not compatible with DVD2SVCD, and the main usage of CCE will be MPEG2 encoding from big AVIs of VHS captures.

So what's the right version for both uses ? :helpful:

Current version simply does NOT support any version of CCE Basic, it only support CCE SP from ver 2.50 to 2.67. Although the author has recently said hes working on CCE 2.70 SP suport.

DVD Rebuilder is the only front end software that I know that can use CCE Basic. The new Pro version of Rebuilder can do main movie only exactly like DVD2SVCD does as well. Worth checking it out :)
