FYI:
I have been testing DVDXPlatinum on Several Store bought DVDS and it seems to work. Nothing will replace DVDD so I suggest a free copy of DVDXPlat will help. 2 steps and your done.

I like DVDXPlat better then DVD Clone II.

DVXPlatinum is not free, how about $119.00. Just went to the website and did not see any free DVX software. Please do not suggest free copies, that could be taken as warez, and that is not permitted here.

And... is it just me or does this look like some sort of crappy one-off of DVD XCopy? Platinum, gold, and xpress? Sounds pretty familiar, doesn't it?

Wasn't the maker of DVDXPlatinum shut down?
I would never buy anything from a reviewer, who also happens to be selling the software.

FYI:

Would not back up Hitch. Works on many, but not like DVDD.
