Removing censor dot?

Recently I have come upon a DVD that when viewing in a certain subtitle language, it will place a large black censor dot on certain parts of a movie. My question is, is there anyway through IfoEdit or any other program to maybe de-link or remove this from the movie? Viewing in another set of subs, it is not there, only in Korean subs is it there. Tried a search, don't think this has come up? Or if it has, what should I search under?

if you this only on some subtitles it's probably on the subtitle picture you can try to edit the subtitle color.

subtitle palette have 16 color you can try to change the color of subtitle (black color for the black dot) in transparency if you are lucky the dot color is not the same than the color subtitle and it will work fine.

other solution is to extract korean subtitle made an ocr convert them in dvd subtitle and reencode your dvd with the new subtitle.

try to extract the subtitle using vsrip and send them at darcracker#caramail.com (# => @) or host them with the .ifo file i will try to give it a shot and see if i can help you.

As I am not sure how to do OCR on korean subs, since I don't know that much about typing in Korean, I upped the subs, maybe there's an easier way?

I am not too sure how to do change color palette and remux back in DVD. I will have to search through the forum some more.

lol your subtitle is really funny in fact in korean they have add some forced subtitle (who are show automaticly with or without the korean subtitle).
i have see 3 such subtitle line (with some black circle).

the easy solution is :

1) open the subtitle with subresynch write the subtitle timestamp for each foced subtitle, open the .idx with the notepad and delete each of these lines.

2) reopen your subtitle with sybresynch and save it as vobsub file (it will strip you the forced subtitle because you have remove the line who contain the timestamp and the offset in the file).

3) use a tool to convert your vobsub file as .son file (who could be read in dvd authoring software).

4) reencode your dvd with the news subtitle.

alternative is try to found a way to remove forced flag on these subtitle (i think ifoeditor could do this.)

PS : it feel strange to see some people are still trying to censure some movies only for the people who want to see it with there mother thongue as subtitles.
