dvd burn rate

When I begin backing up my dvd with dvd decrypter the device buffer is very unstable it jumps from 86 to 13 percent the buffer is almost at 90-98 percent. The problem just begain shortly after I updated shrink and my anti-virus subscription. Is there anything I can do to resolve this issue

First, you need to give more info. what kind of OS are you using, CPU, memory,
burner, media, etc.

Second, you may want to disable your anti-virus while burning.

Third, what do you mean update Shrink? The last version was 3.2.0.15, which was last updated in July of 2004

Lastly, If you want more help from everyone, you have to be more precise in describing your problem. In other words, if you aren't more articulate in expressing yourself nobody will be able to help.

disconnect wifi, close all program (virus,...), defrag ur disc or 3 times, keep some free place on ur HD,burn at a slower speed, ...
