Okay, I have a dvd Analyze This, i ripped the files using Dvd decrypter and used AutoGK 2.09b to do the process of Dvd>Avi...

Well, im stuck with a Xvid that is messed up with the audio (out of sync)

I've tried MPC and tried playing around with different times, i was wondering is their anyway i can clip a few seconds (10s) of the video and post it here so that someone can help me sync it.

Note: i have done this twice and both times the audio is out of sync (default xvid options)

Also this seems to be the first time this has happened.

The reason for making a divx copy is because i recently got a portable divx player and i when i travel i dont want to carry multiple dvds with me, so i thought i would convert the dvds to divx and burn them to one dvd so that i only need to carry 1-2 dvds rather than 10-12.

Thanks in Advance

A/V desync! Yet again!! :-/

Did you search the forums? There are many many similar issues reported and solutions/workarounds provided. There is no readymade answer to your issue.

no i know how to do it... its just iv'e tried so hard to fix it...n its not working, so i was wondering if i could post a little clip of the movie so that some1 can help me figure the desync like -1205ms or 1000ms etc..

i already know how to do it and with like thousands of trials i still havent managed to sync it.

Is it constant desync or gradual desync? If it is the former, then I can give it a shot. If it is gradual desync, then it can't be fixed with a single clip.

its constant i believe, ill split it to a nice 3 min file with like lots of talking maybe you can help, god im so frustrated, AUtoGK seems to be cuasing me alot of troubles with a/v sync because this isn't the first it also happened with my Cheech n Chong - Up in Smoke
