It's a shame, that here is no such faq yet. Someone plz make one =)
Afaik, there's at least 3 tipes of layout for AAC, AC3 and OGG (5.1)
AAC => FL, FR, C, LFE, SL, SR;
AC3 (and WMA) => FL, C, FR, SL, SR, LFE;
OGG => ?
Correct me, if i'm wrong and btw, what's OGG 5.1 mapping?
Is it possible to modify mapping w/o reencoding?

You mean this?..
6chwav/6chaiff
g:\channelFL.wav
g:\channelFR.wav
g:\channelC.wav
g:\channelLFE.wav
g:\channelSL.wav
g:\channelSR.wav
ac3/ogg
g:\channelFL.wav
g:\channelC.wav
g:\channelFR.wav
g:\channelSL.wav
g:\channelSR.wav
g:\channelLFE.wav
But i've been searching for an AAC reference...
Figures it's the same that 6chwav/6chaiff, right?

Third, a .mux file for aac/mp4 output file looks like this :
C:\output-C.wav
C:\output-FL.wav
C:\output-FR.wav
C:\output-SL.wav
C:\output-SR.wav
C:\output-LFE.wav
by assuming that the files are located in C:\. Note also the channels order.
If you have some troubles with this, I fear that your problem doesn't concern BeSweet..
What is this mapping good for? Psytel aacenc, i guess? lol. Not good for Nero though.
Ah, and one more: how channel mapping is organized? Is it in file structure or
only the header? Or is it vary from-to formats?
