i'm editing a menu. i took a screen capture with pgcedit and ripped the subpictures with subrip. both images are 720x478.
can this be right? if both programs are giving the same image size then it must be?
i know muxman will only accepts 720x480 images.
yes, i can easily edit both the screen capture and the subs(so the match) to fit specs, but to the everyday person this can become a problem.
just wanted to point this out.
thanks

Strange. Normally, you should got a 720 x 480 or 720 x 576 image (or another legal size.)
If it is not the case, your DVD may be badly authored, or it's a bug in PgcEdit_Preview.
Any idea, jeanl?

i think it is badly authored.
i tried pgcdemux. the video is 720x480, i also demux the subs(.sup) put everything together and the highlist over lay each other. (so the subs where then ripped as 720x478.)
btw VirtualDubMod and powerdvd captures are 720x480,

ya, i'm going to scrap this disc.
just notice that in pgcedit menu editor the x postion and width are disables(no sliders) most likely it has to do with it not being a legal size.
