Is it possible to encode in single pass instead of two?

I'm sure it is.
but how can I edit the xvid codec settings and SAVE them?
because every time I edit the settings in the xvid encoder and then encode something with Auto GK, it automatically changes the settings for 2 passes and all the settings that Auto GK uses by default.

what can I do?

If it would let you mess with something so important to the final quality of the encode as the codec settings then it wouldn't be Auto

It is possible, however, to encode using single pass: just select target quality
