I have a dvd where i blanked out a load of trailers that was at the beginning. Now i want to edit one of the ifos so that its starts straight from the fox logo.

As the dvd went trailer,trailer........ fox logo, menu. Now i want to set the ifo to jump straight to the fox logo as where the trailers have been blanked out my dvd player will do a lot of seeking back and forth where the trailers was untill it gets to the logo.

I know what title the fox logo is and which VTS in is in.

Thanks

Sounds like a job for jump2pgc. Read this thread:

http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=89209&highlight=jump2pgc

I guess in your case you just need to modify the steps to stop
at the Fox logo instead of the main menu.

PGCEdit now has a built-in jump2pgc macro. See tools->jump to pgc upon dvd insert.

PGCEdit now has a built-in jump2pgc macro. See tools->jump to pgc upon dvd insert.... and this guide (http://www.videohelp.com/~r0lZ/pgcedit/third_party/blutach/How_to_use_PgcEdit_new_macro.htm), by blutach.

I had ago with that last guide, i press the next pb button to trace through the dvd it does through untill the menu pops up like in the guide. But the thing is i want the dvd to start at the fox logo before the menu so it skips the stuff that was blanked out before the fox logo. But a window does'nt appear showing the logo, so how do i work this to start at the fox logo ??

I know what vts its in and which title its it.

Aint there just a value i can change in the ifo in ifoedit... or is it easyer this way.

Not too worry i think i have it right now.Just need to burn it make sre its fine in my player.

Oh this program updates vts sectors ?

To see the logo, you have to enable the preview (check the box just to the right of the play arrow in the menu bar of the trace window).
If you already know in which PGC your logo resides, then you may toggle the breakpoint on that PGC. You don't need to actually see the logo to apply the macro.

Changing only the jump from the FP-PGC to go directly to your logo may work, but may also fail, if some important initialization parameters are set in the PGC that will be skipped. The method explained in blutach's guide is (almost) always safe. Read the guide for more informations.

Its ok i used blutach's guide, and it works great.Player goes straight to the fox logo, no seeking back and forth past the blanked out trailers...

Thanks for your help.
