Hi,
I'm trying to backup an NTSC film to XviD - but when viewing the DVD in Gordian Knot for some reason it has a strange framerate (1 in every 3 frames is a duplicate). To solve this, I used Donald Graft's decomb package and encoded the video with no problems. However, since the framerate has now been lowered to 19.80FPS the audio will not synch up with the encoded AVI, it gradually gos out of synch as I go further into the film.
What programs can I use to convert the AC3 file so that it matches the new framerate of the encoded video? There is a 7 second differance in duration between the AVI and AC3 so I'm going to mess with time stretching to see if that will do anything... In the mean time, any help is greatly appreciated!
