i got an audio cd with a data part
my dvd player won't play it, just show the data part (expecting mp3s)
is there a way to do a bitexact copy of the audio part (without the data part of course) on a blank disc?
thx

Should be quite doable with Exact Audio Copy (http://www.exactaudiocopy.de/), just copy the audio tracks - I don't believe it would even try to copy the data part, but if you don't select it it won't do it anyway... :)

would just deactivating the 'normalizing' and using 'secure mode' result in (more or less) exact waves?
EAC and Isobuster are currently the tools i'm trying

found a nice way using isobuster
i created a bin+cue of the cd and kept onyl the cue
i removed the data part form the cue
then i created bin of only the audio part and quit that process on teh first error
i burned that bin with cue i made before
worked fine on both discs
