TV capture -> 50fps -> Xvid

I capture video from TV (SECAM) in MJPEG 768x576 25fps.
What tool is more suitable for transform this material in 768x288 50 fps, than crop, resize in 512x192 and compress in Xvid ?

Now I'm using VDubMod and Field bob filter.

Instal ffdshow.
In VDM use ffdshow video codec for compression > set cropping to remove blacks > set deinterlace TomsMoComp /use deinterlacing only for interlaced / > do not resize. In OUTPUT set DISPLAY PIXEL RATIO to 1:1.
Before, run you file for 1 or 2 seconds in DVD2AVI to get audio DELAY, set this delay in VDM interleaving for audio streams , keep minus sign.
In VIDEO set to fast recompressing.
And save as ...

How about to convert audio to mp3 in another program and then mux in vdm?

The best way is to compress audio also with VDM /at the same time as video/ , for mp3 I prefer Franhoffer than Lame.

I have read, that at the same time I can get audio without synchronizing with video...

Best way is to test by yourself, and force others to read your opinion.
Set correct DELAY,
in case in trouble you have also possibilty to correct skewed audio by framerate from VDM.
