View Full Version : DVD Authoring software that can make a DVD without re-encoding?

I have an MPV and a WAV file that I want to use to author a DVD with. I would like to be able to make the DVD without having to re-encode the video stream. I know that DVD-lab can do this but for some reason, it screws up the audio sync every time (the 4.36 GB MPG, before demuxing to elementary streams, is in perfect sync).
Nero Vision Express 3 always keeps perfect sync for me but it insists on re-encoding the video stream.
So is there another program that I can use that will mux accurately and not re-encode the video stream?
MuxMan...? IfoEdit...? ReJig...?

Muxman worked perfectly. I love basic no-frills software like that. I should have downloaded it a long time ago.

Why is Muxman 0.14f moving all of the chapter points one I-frame past the I-frame that I specified in the list that I imported? For example, this is the chapter list that I imported:
003450
014948
027070
032680
040226
045343
056333
065130
074465
080760
093728
108666
118693
132826
139848
147541
157129
167901
178762
194686
206172
212612
216522
So, chapter 2, instead of being on frame 3450 (which is an I-frame), is on frame 3465 (the very next I-frame), and the last chapter is on frame 216537 instead of 216522, and so on for all of the chapter points.

Maybe you are counting from 1 instead of 0?
