Hi there,

What's all this talk about the latest version of AC3 Filter being able to play movies that are in WMA 5.1 Sound on your Laptop or PC going through S/PDIF onto your surround sound system that does not support WMA Pro, and doing all this decoding in realtime, is this true?

Sorry for the bad grammar

Any help much appreciated

Many thanks

No, AC3Filter does not decode WMA Pro.

However, if you have a codec that does decode WMA Pro to 5.1 (uncompressed) PCM, AC3Filter can encode that to AC3 in realtime. This requires a recent (1.0+) version of AC3Filter.
