Sorry if this has been covered , I know there is info on the DVD Decrypter Forum but for some reason since yesterday I the page wont load for me.
When I decrypt Layer Cake I get
I 10:15:36 Found 1 DVD-ROM/CD-RW and 1 DVD±RW!
W 10:15:37 Possible Structure Protection Found!
W 10:15:37 12 areas have been marked as 'suspect'.
W 10:15:37 Dummy sectors will be inserted where necessary.
When it rips it inserts dummy sectors into a vob. The problem is when I play the back up made with DVD Shrink the disc freezes at 1h 28m and then jumps to about 1h 37m. If I rewind from there I can play the remaining 9 minutes or so. I am using the latest version of DVD Decrypter and Ritek G05 dvd. There seems to be a faint ring on the dvd towards the outer edge like a blank bit of dvd.
This has happened to me on another dvd which decrypter though had Structure protection again I got the same faint line around the dvd. Turning off the Check structure problem worked on this disc and the 2nd disc then worked fine.
I am using a Plextor 716a dvd writer and the dvd is region 2
