virtual dub 1.6 timing settings?

im using vdub 1.6.6 and i cant seem to get it to capture like vdub synch does....

the timing settings are confusing... which do i set to make it resample the audio and not drop/insert frames?

Under "Capture / Timing," I have mine set up like this:

"Drop frames..." is unchecked
"Insert Null Frames..." is checked
"Null Frame burst limit" is 10
Resync mode is "Synch audio to video..."
"Correct video timing..." is checked
"Automatically disable resync..." is unchecked

Thanks, but it still doesnt work.... I think it must be another problem, i just tried the other vdubs, they all do it. Damn!
