I have eleven PAL Tin-Tin DVDs from a friend and he wants me to convert them to NTSC and wants to keep all the menu's. I did some reading and found that numenu4u would do just that, once doing that I converted the main video files with avi2dvd. Now I'm stuck with the problem of trying to merge the two (the menu and main video files), I've done some searching and reading but can't seem to find that answer. Does any1 know of a thread or how to explain how to finalize this painful process?

thanks.

just put them in the same folder. try opening it with dvd shrink. if you don't get any error it should be fine.

BTW, have you seen this patch method? PAL / NTSC DVD Conversion (patch method) (http://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=221928) i works on some players (on mine :) ) but not all. it save a lot of time.

Wow, that's cool! Surprising, but cool. I wonder what the player does to make it work. Or do you thing your display is doing the work?

Ya, i tried the patch method but it doesn't work 100% on his DVD player, skips every 2secs. on mine it works fine, hehe. Tried opening the files on DVD Shrink and i got an error, tried burning on Nero as well and it burned but just didn't play.

pyrotchnx,
try one of these.

1. put them in the same folder and mock strip (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=84097) the title and menus.

2. put them in the same folder and try running it threw vobblanker (don't touch anything) just let it process into a different folder.

3. open the movie folder with PgcEdit and import the menu.

what was the error dvdshrink gave you?

has any1 run across the problem of the menu being skipped over? I've imported the menu with PgcEdit and set it i think to First Play but whenever I prevew or burn and play it skips right over the menu. While the DVD is playing i can always hit the title menu the button and the menu works fine.
