View Full Version : XViD encoding always coming one frame short

Well, just as the title indicates. Whenever I encode a video using XViD the very last frame is always missing. Of course it's not something that you would notice when encoding a movie but I also use encoding (rather re-encoding) for various reasons the most common being correcting mistakes in the encoded material (so re-encoding from one key frame to the next and then joining) or sth similar to that so I found that every time the re-encoded material always came one frame short. Any ideas, is it sth that I did with my settings or is it an XViD "glitch" in general?

Please use the search. If you read the forum rules again (like you did when you registered for this forum), you'll see this is mandatory before posting questions (especially like these which got answered a hundred times before).

Thank you,

I did! Couldn't find anything, I don't know, maybe I was searching using the wrong key words or sth. Could you please direct me to such a thread?

It's due to a virtualdubmod bug.
