i have a dvd, which shows as ntsc interlaced 29.97 fps in dgindex, but i have seen that it has very minuscle interlacing artifacts here and there! when i encoded it to xvid with autogk, it showed that source is hybrid, mostly film! when i use this dvd in nero recode 2, it asks me to enable deinterlacing, and displays it as recommended action!so, should i use deinterlacing in recode 2 for this dvd?
2. i have another dvd which shows in dgindex as film and has no interlacing, but during initial logos and credits, those of columbia,after that, a blank screen appears for a few seconds during which dgindex shows as interlaced, then again after that it shows film, and for this movie too, reocde 2 shows deinterlacing as recommended, so should i enable de-interlacing here in recode 2?
