I know this has been mentioned before but I still occasionally get files that Nero tells me are unreferenced. The last time this happened was on a disk called "Herules", (Disney). There were two vob files that were 0k so I deleted them. Nero then burnt the disk fine and every thing on the disk played ok. Maybe this was because it was a multi angle/Interleave disk, maybe not. Either way I was just happy I got a working backup of my NTSC DVD. That’s the back ground now to my point. The point I want to make is I have noticed from the passed each time I have had unreferenced files if memory serves I have all ways done this –
Pressed Prepare button, (to see what sort of average bit rate I will get). Then when I know what I will get, I sometimes go back and select steel space to 33%, then click Prepare again and see what I get. If I am then happy with this I would normally press encode. The times I have noticed the unreferenced files is when at this stage I have now clicked the one button press option from the menu and pressed backup. This may be coincidence but it might be worth a try if someone has the time, if people are still getting unreferenced files?
