Hi all.
i installed the new DVDRB pro the other day and strange things happened. i normally use it to back up anime with the default settings. once installing the new one all of my projects (so far anime, havent tested a regular movie yet) are comming out oversized and lots of artifacts, blocks and noise. it looks like a very bad divx encode. im not sure what happened, i switched back to 92 and it was the same outcome, whereas before it created perfect anime backups for me.
i use both cce and hc to encode my anime. one on 3 passes the latter on best. what normally took between 4-6hrs now takes 1.5hrs to complete from prepare to rebuild.

can anyone explain what may have happened?

Thanks in advanced, and jdobbs, you are one incredible guy

ok! i noticed before with the first anmie, using HC, the bitrate was min. 500 max.7000 avg.600 for each segment it was encoding. that dvd was invader zim. im now encoding samurai champloo dvd and the bitrates are much higher now, 5654\9000\6500 - min\max\avg.
i guess hc and DVDrb dont like the invader zim dvd too much. wich ist strange, im made one using 92 and it came out perfect, but now they dont

Invader Zim is almost 100% ILVU. You'll have to either wait unti the ILVU encoding code is complete or remove one of the angles with a third party package.

yeah i just noticed that before encoding last night, in the rebuilder log window it said "found an angle and interleaving".
but i can wait, oh yes, i will wait!! (a little jhonen vasquez and zim humor there).
at least i know its fine aside from zim dvd's.
thanks Jdobbs.

Would you be able to recomend a third party package that can use to remove it with?
i could also swear before i installed 93.2 that it worked fine. but i never made an dvd, i kept playing with the settings to see what outcome i would get.
eh.....it happens :)
