Trying to improve subj. Keeping 30 fps.

Used to process with TomsMoComp(1,5,1). (on my sources search effort "5" had best PSNR) But recently got tired of flickering. Found out TDeint and tweaked it to TDeint(mode=0, order=1, type=2, mthreshL=0), resulting same effect as TMC but without any flickering and four times slower. Another bad thing about TD: it isn't aware of capture frames being lost, resulting failures.

Questions:

1. Where can I find "a dumb bob" (as per TD's manual) to be as fast as TMC and as flickerless as TD (tried some bobs, but they aren't dumb enough, huh? or is it just noobie me?)))?
2. Maybe there is good'n'fast deflicker solution to use with TMC?
3. Any other patternless motion-based deint maybe?
4. Don't rely on motion detection algos in deint filters and use mvtools/masktools to lose vertical resolution only in motion areas. Ideas on scripts?

You did not link the unprocessed source clip. Please do so.

Please do so.
Done. Updated threadstarter. (hope bitrate and quantity of frames are sufficient)

Can't you give us the source in an unencoded format like HUFYUV? I don't have any x264 codec installed, and anyway, it's best to give it to us lossless.

How about this:

loadplugin("leakkerneldeint.dll")
avisource("source.avi")
leakkerneldeint(order=1,threshold=7,sharp=true)

If you object to the minor marching ants, then set threshold=0. You'll get a little softer on the fixed parts, however. Your choice.

Using threshold=0. Lots of thanks! (1) is solved, (2) became obsolete. Will try to do something with (4).

use search, yeah. http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=84725
