I bought a Mustek Powermust600 USB UPS recently and it is working fine, but the software is crap... well what can you expect for 45 EUR?
The software that originally came with the UPS was WinPower 1.0 and it wouldn't even install because it wanted to install to c:\winpower - but c:\ is my boot partition and it's only 8MB...
I found WinPower 2.0 on the web and it installed fine. It also does what it's supposed to do (monitor the UPS and, in case of power outage, shut down the system) but it's clumsy Java software that uses at least 30MB of memory and - what makes it unusable - sometimes freezes my system.
Is there any other software or windows driver that will work with the Mustek Powermust600 USB UPS? The default Windows driver doesn't work, I already tried that (with standard settings for "other" UPS'es)
