I want to find the birate of encoded DVD's that I make. I try to use GSpot but says the same birate for each DVD I put in.

Thanks

Hello and welcome to the forum-

There are a bunch of ways. You can open the completed DVD (on the hard drive) in DVD Shrink, get the video file size and length, and then figure it out in a bitrate calculator such as GKnot. Or you can open the .m2v or vobs in BitRate Viewer (http://www.tecoltd.com/bitratev.htm) and get it. Or you can have burned the DVD and have it in your burner and get the bitrate for everything (video, audio, subs, overhead) from DVD Bit Rate Viewer (http://www.visualdomain.net/bitrate.htm). There are other ways, I'm sure.

That Program called Bitrate Viewer looks like what Im looking for. Although I can't install the program on my system. It seems the self-extracting zip they have on their website does not work for me. It just hangs. Hopefully they release another version soon to use. Thanks for your help.
