Hi, I have successfuly ripped audio files from many dvd's for my own enjoyment in the past using smartripper, or dvd audioripper, or #1 dvd ripper. However, I have a dvd that I am unable to extract the audio. I have tried 3 different ripping programs, and they all give the same result, which is white noise. The dvd is 24 bit lpcm. I have converted this to 16 bit in my ripping program, but I still get the same result.I have also tried changing the ouput to AC3, to no avail. I am at a loss as to what to do. The dvd was recorded in 2002. I would be very grateful for any suggestions to get around this problem.

2) demuxe with dvd decrypter and convert
Rob
PS. if I were you I would control the dvd structure with isobuster

thank you for your reply rob regarding white noise on trying to extract audio from dvd disc. I tried imtoo dvd audio ripper, which did not work. I have just had success with a program called dvd audio extractor. Don't know why this one worked. cheers
