Is there some way to use FreeEnc command line switches for more than 2pass encoding when using it through DVD Rebuilder? Is there some paramater I can enter in the ini file?
The low bitrate encodes I've been doing turn out best when I use QuEnc with HQ, Trellis, Scene Detection, and Slow & Extreme settings ticked. I just tried FreeEnc with 5passes on a sample disc and it does just as well in less time and without hogging the processor as others have said. I had to run FreeEnc and enter the bitrates from the RB ECL file manually. I can't see doing that with a hundred or more segments.
