im tring to convert avi to dvd , now apperently i have problem with the audio , since according to the guide i was supposed to make and mp3 file from the avi in nandub by saving the file as mp3 but there wasnt any option for save as mp3 so i saved as wave and converted it to mp3 later with other apps.
later on at the guide when i combine the m2v file with the ac3 i made from my mp3 i got the message of :
cannt use 44100hz audio sampling rate for standart dvd .

i looked at my original avi file with gspot and notice that the audio there is set on 44100fs and from what i understood dvd support at least 48000fs .

what can i do to convert it right.
i tried use River Past Audio Converter which allow u to set the fs as i set it to 48000 but apperantly its not that easy since it doesnt finished making the file.

need help here please.

thanx

hmmm, why do you extract the audio-part as WAV and covert it later to MP3 and then to AC3?

Extract the Audio with VDub as WAV and select Audio|Conversion the right samplingrate (48kHz) to get a WAV-file with 48kHz. Now you can convert it (with an AC3 encoder) directly to AC3.
