hi,
i wanted to convert a 192 kbps 2-ch ac3 audio file to aac in belight,to be used in .mp4 container, so which settings should i use in belight? what is the recommended bitrate, as this is a 2-ch file ?i have the nero dll's that came with nero 6.6.0.12copied in the besweet directory!should i use that boost mode setting? should i use both "pre-gain" and "normalize to 100%"? should i use the "LFE to LR = -3DB" setting? which stereo mode should i use , stereo, or dpl1 or dpl2? also, the same audio track is also available in 6 channel ac3, should i use it instead of the 2-ch version, as i am using 2-ch transcoding, which one would be better? please please help me out guys for the use with the wonderful proggie "BeLight"!

first:
read the Audio FAQ (AAC) encode

second:
If you want to transcode to a 2ch file I would take the 2ch source as it is most likely profesionally downmixed from the 6ch source.

As you've got a 2ch (left/right channel) there's no need nor any use to apply -3d LFE etc. as there is no LFE channel!

Third : use the presets. For low bitrate try he-aac. For high bitrate lc-aac instead.
