dvd rebuilder equivalent for mac?

i have been happily using dvd decrypter for a while, and have recently purchased a mac. i am wondering if there is any equivalent software for the mac (i.e. re-encoding as opposed to transcoding)

with OSX, you get the ability to run linux apps. try mencoder.

afaik, there's jack-all on the mac for DVD backup. it's quite annoying really. at the very least, there could be a quicktime avisynth :(
