Change Username

How can I change my username? I'm tired of this one, and I know I can't just create another account. Besides, I wouldn't want to make a whole new one anyway; I've racked up a good number of posts on this one, and I don't want to look like a "n00b" (even though I am at heart ;-) ).

you can beg an Admin ;) (and that's your only way). There's no board or no place where you have to sign up (that I know of) where you can just go ahead and change your username.

uhm... the point of a username is to know who is posting what... if everybody starts changing it every other 100 posts, things could get quite messy. :rolleyes:

Well, I was thinking about LifeAura (see pic)... but...

Well, maybe I just don't go with that well. People are telling me they don't like the change. I can't blame 'em, really: I can't be who I'm not, I guess. But then again, you could say that my new name would become the new me!

You see, on a forum, it's sometimes the name has embodies the personality of the speaker. The name "DeathTheSheep" has a rather corny, non-professional sound to it, even though I seriously do some good stuff here (see? You don't beleive it! :D)

I thought I'd kind of like to have it changed to something that would evoke entirely different kinds of reactions in the viewer. Consider this: A movie called: "The Death of Tsarist Russia" would have quite a different appeal than one called "The Birth of the Soviet Union." You see? So I was thinking about "LifeAura."

But other people say that my old username has come to be a corny yet familiar face, and that I had a certain "style," I suppose. Is this so? Does anyone think this is a GOOD idea (besides me)?

I sure know some of you guys think it's a bad one, and I can see why, I guess.

isn't an "aura" the essence of a human spirit, so technically wouldn't LifeAura meant Life & Death

as least he doesn't want to change their name to a pokemon or anime\pc character (which i alway find pathetic), even though forum based
