Audio Resync

i've been using gordianknot to encode my dvds to divx5.
occationally the audio is a little out of sync (50-100ms)
so i use nandub to remux the audio adjusting the delay accordingly.
however this results in an increase in overall filesize of around 1mb
why does the filesize increase and is there anyway to stop it?
current i have to re-encoode the whole rip adjusting the bitrate
and audio delay to get the desired filesize.

change interleave to every 2 - 4 frames - that will save some overhead :)

ps - vdubmod does a better job I think
