missing subtitles and .89

When the video starts (chapter 1), the subtitles are being displayed. When it gets to chapter 2, all the subtitles are missing. I checked the original DVD and it is there. When the video gets to chapter 3, subtitle reappears. :|

I need the subtitle as this is an anime series.

any ideas? could be a bug? maybe i need to do something?

now that i got .92, i'll try one. if that still fails, i'll open the VTSxxx.ifo in subrip.
