There is a new version os mewig out, Linky (http://mewig.sf.net)
It suports snow and x264 now and has some neat features like auto cropping and auto scaling. Good for people not wanting to use avs scripts. I use it for quick compression of TV captures, but can also be used for full DVD backups.
No MP4 output yet though.
