When I burn DVDs I get playback problems. The video suddenly hang and i have to fast forward to go on...

I never had this problem before... I just got a new motherboard ASUS P4C800-E and reinstalled XP. It`s after this the problems started.
I get no error-messages while i burn and verification is usualy ok.
but always the same problem with playback.

In Bios the PIO / DMA is set to Auto. I`m not sure how else to set them. I can chose from PIO 0,1,2,3,4 and DMA 0,1,2,3,4

I changed the motherboard because the IDE-controler was busted and destroied two HDs. I`ve got a Pioneer 107 and a A05. They seem to woork... no problems burning CDs.. Is there any way to test if they are busted???

Or is it simply the configuration?

I tried to update the firmware, but no luck there. Still the same problem.

Does anyone know this problem and know how to fix it???
