View Full Version : matrix that acts like realvideo
I know it sounds weird but I have a script that seems to look best in realvideo. Over anything. I also have it on sharpest image with no cutoffquant. So it not geting any smoother. Cant figure it out. However if there is a matrix I could use in say cce to give me that affect I would greatly appericate it.
thanx again

Can you post your script?
I'd be happy to.
ConvertToYUY2(interlaced=true)
fielddeinterlace()
cnr2
pixiedust(5)
Tweak(bright=8, cont=.95, sat=1.5, hue=7, coring=false)
Levels(0, 1.21, 255, 0, 255)
ColorYUV(off_y=-20, gain_y=0)
Undot
Letterbox(0,6)
LimitedSharpen(Lmode=6)
unfilter(40,40)
ConvertToYV12()
awarpsharp

That does not sound weird at all :rolleyes: ;)

Now if only I could figure out what this question is about.. Are you looking for a way to compress something in MPEG-2 with as good quality as you get with RealVideo...?

at the same bitrate? ;)
Will because it's on a dvdr I can make it huge. However isnt mpeg 2 less lossy then real?

If bitrate is high enough, MPEG2 is "less destructive".

Problem might be, on a DVD, max bitrate is about 9 Mbps, as I recall...
