Hi, I'm trying to backup the movie Fight Club, the Special 2 Disc Edition Set, but am having problems finding the menus, and "extras" on the disc. The Disc I'm backing up doesn't really have extras per say, but I thought the menus and little warning/studio clips would show up as extras since they shouldn't be part of the main movie. I only see one VTS, and when I goto the Segment Viewer, it shows no extras and does not show the menus and warning/studio clips. I backed it up once, and it kept all this stuff, so it must see it in there. But it will not show it to me where I could blank this stuff if I wanted too. Is there a reason it should behave like this, or is their something wrong? Thanks for any help.

With DVD-RB you unfortunately don't have the chance to edit anything contained in the menus yet. They are just copied intact to the output folder.

You can remove those clips, but you need the Pro Version of DVD-RB.

I have the pro version, but I can't see them. I thought it was weird that it only list one VTS, but I'm not too knowledgeable on the structure of DVDs, so I didn't know if that was normal or not.
Edit: I just checked it in IfoEdit, and it says it has 5 Video Title Sets.

I think this has something to do with the vts minimum size setting. IIRC the default setting is 50mb, so anything under 50mb is not touched. I forget the exact line to put in the .ini (is it "vtsminsize=" ?) but are there any disadvantages to setting it to zero?

Thanks, I think I found it now that you mentioned it.
vts_min_size=n
It's listed in this thread: http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=74356
I have to go and test it though now to make sure it works. Looks good though. Thanks :-D

In the vast majority of cases the space recovered on 50MB and lower VTSs are not worth the extra time/effort/risk associated with processing them. But if you are trying to make a disc that has, for example, all of the extras as slideshow -- this would be the way to do it.
